As part of its community partnerships program, Penske Commercial Vehicles has teamed up with second year film and television students at JMC Academy, one of Australia’s leading creative institutions, to produce a range of customer case studies.
Five Brisbane students from JMC Academy’s film and television school worked with Penske Commercial Vehicles’ customers to produce a suite of videos that showcase each company’s unique story.
The videos are now available through Penske’s dedicated YouTube channel youtube.com/WesternStarTrucksAus and include features on:

Kim Ruddock, Penske Transportation Group International Group Marketing Manager, said the features were first-rate and captured Penske’s special customer relationships.
“I was extremely impressed with the videos and thought that each told a great story of the customer experience with Penske, while delivering a behind-the-scenes look at their business journey in the transport industry,” Mrs Ruddock said.
The partnership with Penske also benefited the academy students, who increased their practical skills and enhanced their portfolios through the program, as Head of Film and Television at JMC Jennifer Ussi explained.
“Collaborating with Penske has been an invaluable experience for our students, and ensures that they are industry-ready as part of their studies. All of this is in line with our values of industry responsiveness and practical exposure,” said Ms Ussi.
Video production and direction came from Brett Hockey, Julia Isaksson, Johnathan Oldham, Beau Selwood and Joel Tronoff.
